MCP Server

Connect any MCP-compatible chatbot to your Moneysaurus data.

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that allows AI assistants to securely connect to external data and tools. With MCP, you can connect any MCP-compatible chatbot—Claude, OpenClaw, NVIDIA NemoClaw, LibreChat, Cursor, Hermes Agent, or others—directly to your Moneysaurus data. Your chatbot can then read your transactions, budgets, goals, and wallets without needing a custom integration for each platform.

Quick Start

Your MCP server endpoint is available at the URL shown in Settings → MCP Server. All MCP communication happens over HTTPS using JSON-RPC 2.0.

  1. Sign in to your Moneysaurus dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings → MCP Server.
  3. Click Generate Token, choose a name, scopes, and expiry.
  4. Copy your token immediately—you will only see it once. Store it securely in your chatbot’s configuration.
  5. Configure your chatbot with the endpoint URL and Bearer token.
  6. Test by asking your chatbot about your finances.
